Copia Power’s proposed Solar Prairie project is poised to become Sullivan County's largest energy development, bringing 1,200 megawatts of solar capacity and 300 megawatts of battery storage to Gill and Haddon townships. Planned as a massive four-phase rollout targeting full operation by mid-2031, the 9,000-acre campus would effectively double the county's announced utility-scale solar footprint.
