In March 2024, Linton resident Craig Hendry addressed the Linton City Council during the public comment portion of its regular meeting, where he voiced strong criticism of the Linton Police Department and its handling of his prior arrest on a Vigo County warrant.
He later had charges filed against him for his public comment.
