Linton News Expands Coverage with the Launch of ‘Sullivan News’

SULLIVAN, IN — In response to a growing community demand for dedicated local reporting, Linton News has officially announced the launch of a new, comprehensive subsection: Sullivan News.

Linton News
Current Events, Jail Logs, and Obituaries.

The expansion brings full-scale journalism to Sullivan County while housing all content conveniently under the existing Linton News banner. With a single subscription of under $5 a month, readers will now receive full access to both the traditional Greene County coverage and the new Sullivan County reporting through one website and one Facebook page.

"As we grew and started to cover Sullivan County, we heard from dozens and dozens of people," said Adam Wentz in the official announcement. "People were asking for more local news coverage in their community, and we're here to provide that."

Expanded Daily Coverage and New Features

The core mission of Sullivan News is to provide the community with a daily story, Monday through Friday. Coverage will highlight local politics, county governance, special events, fundraisers, and community gatherings. The publication is also expanding its geographical focus to include dedicated reporting on surrounding communities, including Merom, Farmersburg, and Shelburn.

Beyond standard local events, Sullivan News will feature:
