Some tips:
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water, even if you don’t feel thirsty.
• Limit Outdoor Activities: Avoid strenuous activity during peak heat hours (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.).
• Use Air Conditioning: If you don’t have access to AC, visit a designated cooling center.
• Never Leave Children or Pets in Vehicles: Even for a minute.
• Check on Neighbors: Especially the elderly, those living alone, or anyone without air conditioning.
• Watch for heat illness: Symptoms like dizziness, nausea, rapid heartbeat, or confusion could signal heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
