OWEN COUNTY, Ind. — A multi-month investigation conducted by the Owen County Prosecutor's Office and the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force has resulted in felony charges filed in Owen Circuit Court following a report from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). Authorities initiated the probe after a social media platform flagged illicit content uploaded to its network, ultimately uncovering alleged child exploitation material and failures to comply with state sex offender registration requirements.
