On September 2, 2026, the State of Indiana filed Miscellaneous Criminal cases in the Sullivan Circuit Court against Sullivan County Auditor Amy L. Scarbrough and Sullivan County Council member Jack W. "Wes" Scarbrough. On September 9th a special prosecutor was assigned out of Clay County.
