GREENE COUNTY, Ind. — The Greene County Sheriff’s Department reported four recent bookings between November 11 and 13, 2025, including charges of battery against a public safety official, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and drug possession

Shane Michael Goodwill, 31, of Clay City
Goodwill was arrested on November 11 by Officer A. Johnson and booked on multiple charges, including:
- Battery (touches another person in a rude, insolent, or angry manner)
- Battery on a public safety official while engaged in official duty (Level 5 felony)
- Resisting law enforcement causing bodily injury (Level 5 felony)
Goodwill is being held without bond at the Greene County Jail pending further court action.

James Hills, 43, of Portland, Tennessee
Hills was booked on November 12 as a sentenced inmate on a possession of marijuana or hash oil conviction, a Class B misdemeanor under Indiana Code 35-48-4-11(a).

Jill Marie Dyer, 42, of Linton
Dyer was arrested early November 13 by Officer T. Cheeseman and charged with:
- Operating a vehicle while intoxicated (Class A misdemeanor)
- Interfering with public safety (Class A misdemeanor)
- Refusal to aid an officer (Class B misdemeanor)
Her bond was set at $5,500, with an option to post $550 for release.

George Keith Arthur Jr., 45, of Bloomfield
Arthur was arrested on November 13 by Officer B. Eads on a warrant for battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, a Level 6 felony under case number 28D01-2511-F6-174.
He is being held without bond pending an initial hearing.
