This program is designed to help students build real journalism experience 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐬.⁣

What you’ll do (a few times per month):⁣
• Attend local high school games or events⁣
• Take a few photos and write short recap articles⁣
• Submit your work to be published on Linton News ⁣

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫:⁣
• High school or college students interested in journalism, media, writing, or photography⁣
• New writers who want resume-building clips and real news experience⁣
• You can choose your sport(s): football, basketball, baseball, or track (multiple volunteers welcome)⁣

• Your work will be published and shared widely across the community⁣
• All articles will be free to read, giving your articles maximum exposure⁣
• Mentorship, feedback, and clips you can link on applications and resumes⁣

• Volunteer-only, unpaid (may offer partial pay depending on workload)⁣
• Must be 16+⁣
• Flexible assignment frequency; you do not have to cover every sport⁣
