GREENE COUNTY, Ind. — At just 16 months old, local toddler Lainey is already making a significant mark on the pageant circuit and in her community. Recently crowned the 2026 Baby Miss Greene County, she is set to represent her hometown on the national stage this September.
Lainey, the daughter of Allie Deckard and Tyler Arthur, began her journey with America's Best Pageants just over a year ago. As the youngest of four siblings, and the only girl alongside three older brothers, her family knew early on that they wanted her to experience the pageant stage. However, her rapid rise to representing her local community on a national level exceeded their early expectations.
Having competed in five preliminary pageants, the toddler has already secured five supreme titles, including 2026 Baby Miss Shamrock. These preliminary victories earned her a direct entry to the national level, and she officially received her 2026 Baby Miss Greene County sash and title this past March.
Beyond the crowns and sashes, Lainey’s pageant participation is deeply rooted in giving back to the community. She has twice been awarded the title of "Donation Queen" for bringing in the highest volume of charitable items for local facilities. Following her Donation Queen win this past January, half of the collected items were donated directly to Second Time’s the Charm in Bloomfield, Indiana.
Lainey will take the national stage starting September 11, competing over the course of the September 11–13 event. During the two-day competition, she will face off against representatives from numerous other counties in hopes of winning the top Baby Miss category for Greene County.
When she isn't competing, Lainey's parents say she loves pageants, dresses, bows, spending time with her brothers, and working with her pageant coach, Jenna. Her family expresses immense gratitude to everyone who has made her early success possible.
